Outreach
Midlothian Friends Meeting has a unique way of supporting local outreach organizations: we use the profits from the Thrifty Quaker (TQ) thrift store.
The Thrifty Quaker was created by in 1996 for the sole purpose of helping others by raising funds for local charities. Twelve charities, mostly local, are chosen by the Peace and Social Action committee of Midlothian Friends Meeting, one for each month of the year. Applications for a charity to receive funds area available by contacting the TQ.
