Sanctuary Movement

There is an ad-hoc group in Midlothian Friends Meeting that is learning about the Sanctuary movement, and will share their work with the Meeting. To learn more about the group, follow this link and click on the Join Group tab.

Sanctuary Everywhere

Sanctuary Everywhere is an initiative of the American Friends Service Committee. According to the AFSC web site, Sanctuary Everywhere is the simple idea that everyday people can come together to keep each other safe, especially in these uncertain times.

The Meeting is considering supporting the Sanctuary Everywhere movement, and is drafting a "Welcome All" minute for the Meeting to consider at Meeting for Discernment (formerly called "Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business")
